Nursing Associate or Health Care Support Worker

Our Nursing Associate & Healthcare Support Worker are responsible for:

  • Emergency blood test
  • Blood pressure checks
  • NHS Health Checks
  • Flu vaccinations, shingle vaccinations, Vitamin B12 Injections
  • Dressing changes
  • General diet and lifestyle advice
  • Follow-up ear irrigation
  • ECG's
  • INR (warfarin) clinic

Baby Clinic

baby_lyingIf your baby/child is due vaccinations a card will be sent to your home asking you to telephone the surgery, the receptionist will then give you an appointment with the GP or Nurse Clinician. If your baby is due a developmental checks, you will be notified by post when these are due, you will be sent the appointment card stating the date and time. Post natal examinations and baby vaccines are done on Wednesday mornings between 10.30 - 11.30

We prefer to see ill babies during normal surgery hours and not in the baby clinic

Well baby clinics are held in the area for routine weighing and any advice you may need. Please attend one of the following clinics:

Family Planning Clinic

Family planning advice is available from all doctors and Nurse Clinician. Dr Hamad does removal and insertion of the contraception implant. When phoning regarding either of these procedure please mention this to the receptionist as a double appointment is needed.

Condoms are available free of charge.
